TIMETABLE
• Phase 1 (September 2018-June 2019): Planning, securing donations and volunteers (completed).
• Phase 2 (August): Site preparation work with grading, drainage and gravel.
• Phase 3 (September): Forming, concrete pouring.
• Phase 4 (August-September): Philomath PTO solicitation to raise funds for the purchase of pedal cars and garages.
• Phase 5 (October): Final installation of road signs, painting of stripes, installation of community-sponsored cars and garages.
BOARD VOTES
Following is a list of votes taken by the Philomath School Board at its Aug. 19 meeting:
• To return $734,000 gift designated for Philomath Community Pool project to the Benton Community Foundation. Motion: Niemann. Seconded: Grube. Vote: Passes 4-0 (Yes—Grube, Kildea, Niemann, Skinkis; Absent—Gerding).
• To approve a consent agenda that includes bills, minutes from previous meetings and recommended policy updates. Motion: Niemann. Seconded: Skinkis. Vote: Passes 4-0 (Yes—Grube, Kildea, Niemann, Skinkis; Absent—Gerding).
• To approve a resolution to transfer appropriations of $10,000 in the General Fund categorically from instruction to transfers, and $20,000 in total into the Trust and Agency Fund, and also to approve a supplemental budget. Motion: Niemann. Seconded: Grube. Vote: Passes 4-0 (Yes—Grube, Kildea, Niemann, Skinkis; Absent—Gerding).
