The Corvallis High baseball team won a 27-14 slugfest with Dallas on Friday in a Mid-Willamette Conference road game that featured six home runs, five by the Spartans.
Aaron Corwin led the way for Corvallis (12-3, 7-2) with three home runs. Two were solo shots; the third a grand slam. He was 3-for-3 with six RBIs.
Kipp Godfrey was 3-for-3 with two home runs, one from each side of the plate. Adam Zweber was 5-for-5 with five RBIs.
"It was a really odd game," Corvallis coach Eric Dazey said. "Everything was a factor. It was the third game of a series."

Nate Pozzesi led Crescent Valley to a MWC shutout, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs, a double and a triple.
The Raiders (9-4, 9-0) played error-free defense and hit consistently to stay in first place in the conference.

LINCOLN CITY - Dan Haynes knocked in eight runs on four hits to lead the Warriors to the Val-Co League win in five innings.
Haynes went 4-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in on each hit. He also got the pitching win for PHS (9-8, 4-2).
"He came out a little shaky and then he found his slider and that they couldn't touch him," PHS coach Ryan Starwalt said.
Michael Finn went 3-for-3 with a double and four runs scored for PHS.

ADAIR VILLAGE - The Eagles gave up six runs on six hits in the sixth inning in the Pac-West Conference loss.
SC (11-3, 3-1) had a no-hitter going through five, but the Rams got a few hits through and the Eagles did not respond well. SC made a couple of errors and walked three batters in the inning.
"We needed to stop the bleeding and keep contact there and we didn't do it," SC coach Matt Nosack said.
The Eagles host Junction City on Tuesday.
