PHILOMATH - Too many Philomath High turnovers got second-ranked Central rolling in a 62-15 Val-Co League loss.

The Warriors finish the season at 3-7 overall, 1-3 in league.

PHS stayed within 7-6 in the first quarter and actually took a 9-7 lead in the second, but a lost fumble at the Warriors' 40 and a three-and-out on the ensuing drive resulted in two quick Central scores and sparked a 41-point barrage in the second and third quarters by Panthers.

PHS coach Troy Muir said the Warriors lost a couple fumbles in their own territory and threw an interception.

"They're a good football team," Muir said. "You can't make mistakes against them and once we started doing that they capitalized on it."

Joseph Harman had 161 yards on 22 carries for the Warriors.
