OFFENSE: Running the ball is paramount for this team, and RB LeSean McCoy is the focal point. The sophomore put together a first-team All-Big East Conference season with 284 carries for 1,481 yards and 21 touchdowns, and was the team's second-best receiver with 31 receptions for 299 yards. … TE Nate Byham and C C.J. Davis were other offensive first-team selections. … QB Bill Stull has completed 181 of 306 for 2,304 yards, nine TDs and nine INTs. … The scoring offense (29.3 ppg) is the best in the Big East.

DEFENSE: LB Scott McKillop is the defensive leader. He was named the Big East Defensive Player of the Year. He has 126 tackles (12.6 average leads the nation).
